High School Musical 2025

We are SO EXCITED to [hopefully] be putting on High School Musical (one act edition) in 2025! Open to ages 10 to 17 (for now.. stay tuned younger kids!)
While we wait for our royalties application to be approved and finalise all the details, you can register your interest below to be the first in line when auditions are announced!
The (maybe) Details
We don't have any details confirmed just yet, but just in case, here's a few dates to save and things to think about...
Performances are likely to be held on October 18th and 19th with matinee and evening performances.
There is likely to be a tech rehearsal on Sunday 12th October at the theatre during the day and an all day dress rehearsal at PAPA Wembley on Sunday 5th October.
Rehearsals are likely to be held on Tuesdays from 5.30-7.30pm and Wednesdays from 6pm-8pm throughout Term 3 (starting July 22nd) and will be held at PAPA Wembley.
Ensemble members may not be required to attend every rehearsal.
Auditions are likely to be held between the 20th and the 25th of June and cast announcements will be made the following week.
We will be double casting the show to give as many people an opportunity to perform as possible. PAPA Students will have priority access to register for auditions when they open for booking.
The rehearsal and production process is not the same as weekly classes and requires extra commitment. Any unexplained absences from rehearsals may result in roles being given to more committed students and negative behaviour may result in being removed from the cast.
Costs will be kept to a minimum. There will be an $80 fee to participate which will cover scripts, cast tee shirts, some costuming and all rehearsals and performances. Tickets to the performances will be available for approximately $35 with discounts for seniors, children and current PAPA students.
